Lasergrammetry provides quick and accurate capture of true 3D(Spatial) data of plants, with mm accuracy, using intrinsically safe laser scanners and survey control targets. Digital data thus collected is used to measure dimensions or exported to modeling software such as SmartPlant, PDMS, PDS, Plant3D and ACAD to produce plant as-builts and full scale 3D Plant models. As-built models can also be quickly verified against the plant by superimposing the scanned cloud data with an existing 3D model to highlight inconsistencies.
